We’ve added the statue of St. John, Resurrection witness, to our Greencastle Road entrance, showing that we are a Catholic church (Catholic churches have statues). He is depicted as  The Gospel Evangelist who also wrote three epistles and the Book of Revelation. He is seen with scribe pen in hand to tell; his sign (an eagle) is resting at his feet. The statue came form a church that closed. The statue was brought here on Sunday, August 21st.

Shed upon your Church, O Lord, the brightness of your light, that we, being illuminated by the teaching of your apostle and evangelist John, may walk in the light of your truth, that at length we may attain to the fullness of eternal life, through Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with your and the Holy Spirit one God for ever and ever.
