Act as Christ’s hands and feet at home, at work, at school, in the community, and within the parish.

Adult faith enrichment programs and events are offered throughout the year to assist parishioners in their lifelong spiritual journey through weekly scripture studies, archdiocesan programs and speakers, monthly parent group discussions, prayer groups, and special events.

Adult faith enrichment is an essential process that invites Catholic Christians to integrate their own life experiences with knowledge of the faith, love of God, and love of neighbor. It is a complete initiation into the life of the Church as a way of forming a Christian conscience and a desire to act as Christ’s hands and feet at home, at work, at school, in the community, and within the parish.

Archdiocesan certification is awarded to those who satisfy the requirements of the Archdiocese of Washington’s Faith Formation Program, which is offered at Resurrection Parish. Courses include: Creed, Prayer, Morality, Sacraments, and Catechesis.

Ongoing Adult Faith Formation Series: Living the Gospel.

This program is a Joint Venture of St. Camillus, Resurrection, St. Patrick & St. John the Baptist Catholic Churches.

This series of retreats, workshops and discussions brings the Gospel to bear on our daily lives. Using the teachings of Jesus, we will personally and collectively ground ourselves in God, becoming more open to the ways God’s love can transform us. Topics will include forgiveness, peace, and the joy of God. The series centers on living the contemplative dimension of the Gospel, which is about experiencing God beyond thinking. Led by staff and parishioners, except where noted.
