The United States Army Field Band serves the American people as the Musical Ambassadors of the Army. The Clarinet Choir comprises an array of clarinets, from the tiniest soprano to the formidable Bb contrabass. Members of the group have carefully crafted this concert, selecting and arranging each selection for our enjoyment. They will present a concert of chamber music, including selections by Schubert, Brahms, Stravinsky and Strauss, as well as happy folk songs arranged by Percy Granger. Stationed at Fort Meade, they relish the opportunity to share this music with us, their neighbors!
