Kids and adults alike enjoyed a variety of outdoor and indoor activities Sept. 20 at Resurrection Church’s annual Family Fest. Some of the most popular attractions included the Giant Atomic Dual Lane Slide, the Rainbow Giant Obstacle Course, “Mary’s Go Round” Pony Rides, Trackless Train trips arounds the yard, and the Mad Scientist Lab Show to close the four-hour event. John Laudwein and a host of volunteers and the Knights of Columbus assisted Fr. Barry in organizing and running the event. Announcer Vinnie Bruce helped keep things lively and provided dance music for kids of all ages. And, of course, there was plenty of ice cream to go around.
