A clergy-led offering will be starting on November 7th. A gathering with Praise & Worship Songs, Catholic prayers, a Testimonial, a Bible reading and teaching, quiet reflection, small group sharing, and then Benediction is our new program that I hope you’ll take advantage of.

We will use the contemporary Catholic/Christian music in Praise & Worship songs that I have been long familiar with—and which we implemented at our 9:00 am Mass for the last year and also right before the pandemic shutdown. It is good music for a prayer meeting. This singing and Catholic prayer will start the fellowship meeting. Next, prayers and a short testimony of faith may be given by a member. We then do a Bible study together, clergy taught, lasting less than 20 minutes. Next, we take a pause to take in God’s message. Then, people get into small groups (two to four in each) and share, with short comments by members, about the Bible teaching or from one of these categories: 1) a recent moment close to Christ, 2) a lesson received in the Faith, 3) a recent action or service to God’s Glory or 4) praise to God.

Services will be held twice a month, at Resurrection and at Riderwood Chapel, starting on November 7th. Fr. Barry has wanted to try this spiritual program here in the parish for a few years, but just did not have the clergy help. Now, he has the help of two religious clergy, Fr. Osuagwu and Fr. Jeorge.
