Experience the versatility of the marimba with Robert Schroyer, NOW’s Principal Percussionist, alongside Rachel Shapiro, violinist, and Jeremy Eig, clarinetist. Through the works of Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, we will experience the evolving history of the tango in the early 20^th century. This concert will also present Polish composer Anna Ignatowicz’ tribute to her late father, and composer Kevin Puts’ powerful witness that music can transcend tragedy or personal crisis.
