The MoCo Interfaith 5k is an inclusive event, designed to bring together people of different backgrounds to meet, socialize and work together to better the entire community. While many attendees are people of faith, the event respects all backgrounds and does not embrace any one religion or belief system.

Religious groups like the Salvation Army, Catholic Charities USA, Lutheran Services in America, and Jewish Family Services have long been among the leading providers of social services in many parts of the United States.
The 2022 Montgomery County Interfaith 5K will continue to donate its proceeds to support the local Montgomery County community. This year profits will be donated to Gaithersburg Help and C-4.
