Ash Wednesday

February 22

Ashes will be SPRINKLED ON TOP of your head. We will be following the Ash Sprinkling as recommended by Pope Francis and Cardinal Gregory. This is the way it is usually done at the Vatican and much of Europe.

Wednesday, 7:00 am – 7:20 am; 7:30 am – 7:50 am: Service with distribution of ashes (no Mass)
Wednesday, 9:00 am – Mass with distribution of ashes
Wednesday, 7:30 pm – Mass with distribution of ashes

Riderwood

Arbor Ridge: Wednesday, 10:00 am – Mass with distribution of ashes
Chapel: Wednesday 3:00 pm – Mass with distribution of ashes
