“Pandemic-Style” Baby Bottle Campaign to benefit the Columbia Pregnancy Center

During Advent, in joyful anticipation of the birth of Jesus, Resurrection Parish will sponsor a “Pandemic-Style” Baby Bottle Campaign from November 28th-December 20th to benefit the Columbia Pregnancy Center. Currently, they are working from a budget that has seen donations drop by more than 80% and are in desperate need of funds.

Beginning Saturday, November 28th, please drop off all monetary donations in the designated place in the Commons for the Columbia Pregnancy Center. Please be sure to put “Baby Bottle Campaign” in the memo line of your check. Just look for the super-large baby bottle! We know you will miss the plastic bottles, but since there’s a coin shortage, we’re hoping you’ll give a bit more than loose change!

Your donations directly provide baby clothes, diapers, car seats, and counseling among other necessities to numerous single mothers facing an unplanned or difficult pregnancy. Your generosity can transform uncertainty, fear and impossibility into hope, survival, and joy in the birth of a baby. Thank you!

Advent Spiritual Reflections

Our theme this Advent will be Meditations on The Names and Titles of God’s Son and Savior Jesus. We will use the Old (Hebrew) Testament and New (Christian) Testament titles of the Son of God as a lens into knowing Him more, with help from the viewpoint of saints, poets, and songwriters into God’s Son, Who is Jesus Christ. Fr. Barry invites us to pause with purpose to fix our eyes on God’s Son, Who is God-Made-Flesh, and render our hearts and mind to see better of Who He is.

Please visit the Daily Word videos to pray over the many titles of Jesus.
