Join Us for June Concert Featuring Elizabeth Hungerford and the Peabody Consort!

On Sunday, June 20th at 6:00 pm, Elizabeth Hungerford, soprano, and the renowned Peabody Consort will present a recital titled: “A Woman Scorned”! It will recount, through songs of the renaissance and Baroque period, the unfortunate stories of women - such as Mary Queen of Scots. Ms Hungerford has enjoyed significant success for her interpretations of early vocal literature and has sung with such prestigious groups as the Folger Consort. Ms. Hungerford recently completed her studies at the Peabody Conservatory, where shewas awarded the Early Music Department's annual Award for Excellence; she has been featured on 10 recordings to date. The recital will also feature solo works for harpsichord, viola da gamba, lute and renaissance guitar.. A reception will follow the recital. No ticket required; $10.00 donation suggested.
