Music Ministry

“God has bestowed upon his people the gift of song. God dwells within each human person, in the place where music takes its source. Indeed, God, the giver of song, is present whenever his people sing his praises” (Sing to the Lord, Music in Divine Worship, 2007).

We believe that liturgical music gives our community a sense of unity and allows it to express its faith throughout the different liturgical seasons of the year. The music chosen in our parish represents a variety of styles, cultures, and historical periods. We are always looking for individuals willing to share their talents and time as choir members, cantors or instrumentalists. For more information about our music program, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. The cantor is a singer, a leader of congregational song and also a Psalmist. Although the ministry of the Psalmist is distinct from the role of the cantor, the two ministries are often entrusted to the same person.

High School students and adults who play brass, string, woodwind or percussion instruments are invited to contact the organist, William Wisnom, by calling the office or sending an email to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
