Winterfest Raffle tickets

Winterfest preparations are in full swing! One of the many sources of income for the event is the Raffle. We will have two concurrent raffles this year:

The first raffle is for cash prizes. Tickets are 1-$5, 3-$10, 6-$20
1st Prize- $500; 2nd Prize- $500; 3rd Prize- $500
the above amounts do not require that tax form 1099 be issued to the winner. Tickets returned to the Church by November 15 will also be eligible for a $250 early bird prize and the ticket is re-entered for the final drawing.

Quilt2015The second raffle is for a beautiful Queen size handmade quilt which is traditionally assembled by our Resurrection quilters. Tickets are $5 each.
A limited amount of tickets (400) will be sold for this prize and you will have an opportunity to purchase after Masses and other events as we get closer to the Winterfest dates. These tickets are not being distributed in the mailing since we are limiting the number of chances (and increasing the buyer's chances to win!)
A package with general Winterfest information will be going out to all registered parishioners via US Mail later this week. This is the easiest way to participate! All that is required is that you buy or sell the two books of tickets enclosed and return the money and ticket stubs to the Church office or place in the special box in the back of the Church. Unsold ticket books can also be returned to the box for additional opportunities to distribute. If you do not receive a mailing or need more tickets you can pick up at the Church office.

Winterfest Bake Sale

"There are no calories at the bake sale table!"
Okay, maybe there are a few but all the deliciousness in each cupcake , cookie, brownie & other baked goods sold goes to raising $ for our church programs. The Bake Sale team has fun too--- they may break out in song/dance , tell a good joke or provide quick words of wisdom with each purchase! It's never a dull moment at the Bake Sale table! Many of the volunteers on the team are directly impacted by the money raised. For example, some of the middle and high school students working at the table are part of our Religious Education and youth groups at the church. The money from WinterFest helps them find various service projects they do in our community as well as fun events & trips. So come out and support the Bake Sale table .... You will get a tasty treat and have your time at WinterFest uplifted by the Bake Sale Table team you meet!
